TDSS During Coronavirus
Per the order from Governor Northam, we are currently closed at both our Dulles and Falls Church locations. We want to provide ongoing value and content to our community. This page will be a resource for options to keep your children active and practicing their swim drills to maintain the muscle memory that they've been working on in their lessons. Please continue to check back for new information, videos, and tips.

TDSS COVID-19 UPDATE AND NEW E-LEARNING PLATFORM
Dear TDSS Families,
I hope you are safe and healthy during this uncertain and extraordinary time. I also hope you are following the social distancing and social grouping restrictions to help flatten the growth curve of COVID-19. I know the quarantine with kids is a major adjustment to your day and I wish you all the best while finding your new “normal.” If it makes you feel better, my wife and I have four kids between the ages of 6 and soon to be 2, so our days are very long and my wife deserves an award for managing them while I spend my days trying to keep the schools in business.
Now that Governor Northam has required all non-essential businesses to shut down, we will not plan on re-opening the schools until the state deems it safe and appropriate. We miss all of our swimmers and can’t wait to get back to providing a life-skill filled with laughs and high-fives!
Tuesdays with Tom on Facebook Live
We will have additional swim level based skills videos available on the member portal. These videos will reinforce specific skills such as floating, arm movements, streamline arms, bathtub practice, and more. Please log on to your portal to access these valuable videos for your kids.
All of us at TDSS, like you at home, are doing our best to practice social distancing, washing our hands constantly and trying to keep our minds and bodies healthy during this time. Unfortunately, that has meant a total closure of the swim school so that our staff, students and families aren't at risk for unnecessary exposure to coronavirus. This is a hard time for all of us here at TDSS and our fellow small businesses in the community. Please consider purchasing gift cards, take out food orders or future services from your favorite local businesses. TDSS will donate 20% of all gift certificate sales to our employees who are currently unable to work due to the closure.
We offer TDSS Gift Certificates that can be used as gifts or for future lessons for your own family at the swim school when we reopen.
